Welcome---my SUPERCALIFRAGILISTICEXPIALIDOCIOUS sixth graders!!
Lately, the sixth graders have been working with measures, transformations, and other geometry concepts. Here are some sites that have some activities that will help. Try them. shape_space_measures math.com Geometry
We have also been studying about the solar system. We made some really fun pop-up books and donated them to our little friends in the first and second grades at our school.

Spring Break was really fun, but now it is time to get serious again!! Our State END OF YEAR TESTING is now beginning and it is VERY important that the students are here. Every student NEEDS to be tested. If they are absent during our testing times, they will still have to make up the missed tests, but that will most likely be during recess, PE, etc. (all the "fun" times) and they don't want to have to do that.
The following are the days/dates and times that we have testing scheduled:
Wed and Thurs April 23,24 11:00 - 12:30 Science Testing
Tues, Wed, Thurs April 29, 30 May 1 1:45-3:00 Language Arts Testing
Tues, Thurs, Fri May 6,8,9 11:00-12:30 Math Testing
Wed May 14 1:45 6th grade Keyboarding Test
